A Nottingham musical duo visits Stonebridge City Farm once a week to perform for babies and toddlers and get them singing and dancing.
Rainbow Stripes offers cheap and accessible music sessions for children under five, with all earnings going back to the farm.
Sue Scargill and Peter Lynn met over 23 years ago when they were living in Sneinton and taking their children to nursery.

She said: “We knew how hard it was when we brought our little ones up, so we’ve always provided stuff for free or as minimum as possible.
“You never know with a little one if you’re going to be able to turn up or not, so we don’t require booking.”
“From the womb it’s really important for children to be hearing music.”

She added: “From the womb it’s really important for children to be hearing music.
“It gives them more access to the rhythm and more able to express themselves rather than feeling shy.”

The duo play a mixture of their own songs and classics like sleeping bunny and head, shoulders, knees and toes to get the children familiar and eager to join in.
Peter Lynn said: “A Polish woman used to come to the sessions 17 years ago and said that her kids learned the language through our sessions.”
He added: “And now they’re doing their A levels and she gives us a big hug, but we get this like twice a week.”
Whilst Peter plays the guitar throughout the 45 minute session, Sue reads stories, gives the children instruments and brings along teddies to use during songs.

Mum Amy Bates, said: “This is our first time coming and it was very good, he loves the parachute and going under it.
“And we’ve met lots of mum friends and love hanging out with our little baby friends.”
She added: “It’s nice to come otherwise you’re stuck at home by yourself.
“You get to meet them all and they’re also all going to nursery together.”
