Nottingham Forest are said to be looking to cut short Oleksander Zinchenko’s loan from Arsenal before the January transfer window slams shut.

The Ukrainian left back joined Forest on deadline day in the summer but has struggled for game time at the City Ground and has since been dropped from the reds’ Europa League squad.

Forest are also looking to bring in strikers given Arnaud Kalimuendo went out on loan to Eintracht Frankfurt early on in January.

There have been rumours of the Reds being interested in Wolves forward Jorgen Strand Larsen and Napoli striker Lorenzo Lucca, but no deals have been put in place.

Meanwhile in League Two Notts County signed Harrogate Town goalkeeper James Belshaw on January 13 – he joins for an undisclosed fee on an 18-month deal.

With Belshaw’s arrival Kelle Roos has signed for Kilmarnock until the end of the season. Roos had made 26 appearances for the Magpies since arriving in the summer.

County have also added to their attack with the signing of Beck-Ray Enoru, who joins from Tamworth FC for an undisclosed fee. The 23-year-old has signed a two-and-a-half year deal with the option of another year.

In League One, Mansfield Town have brought in Jon Russell to boost their midfield. He joins on loan from Barnsley until the end of the season.

They have also secured the loan signing of young forward Oliver Irow from Tottenham Hotspur until the end of the season.

The Stags have also signed forward Victor Adeboyejo from Bolton Wanderers on a permanent deal.
