DHP Family and Framework staff on steps of Rock City

A music festival in Nottingham that has surpassed over £550,000 in fundraising is returning on Sunday, January 25 for another year.

The full line-up for Beat the Streets has now been announced, with names such as Bloodworm, Bored Marsh, Dring, Marvin’s Revenge and Saffron Gray performing at the various venues involved this year.

Rock City, Rescue Rooms, The Bodega, Stealth and Rough Trade, all operated by DHP Family, are taking part in the annual festival, with all proceeds going to homeless charities including donations, bar, tickets and merch.

All the money raised will go towards completing the new 20 self-contained homes for former rough sleepers.

Framework will also provide around the clock support to help the residents of Lee House in Basford turn around their lives.

Beat the Streets organisers will also be auctioning special items for sale to raise further funds such as a golden ticket to every Rock City show this year and a Splendour backstage tour.

Ahead of a 17 date national tour supporting Suede, Bloodworm are one of the many artists you can catch this weekend.

Nottingham’s very own RnB princess, Saffron Gray, will also be bringing the grooves to the city.

Throughout the years it has seen hundreds of artists from across the region take to the stages, such as Jake Bugg, Sleaford Mods, Ferocious Dog and more.

Joseph Patten from the DHP Family said: “Beat the Streets has always been about bringing the Notts music community together in support of a worthy cause, while celebrating the amazing artists of our city.

“It’s always great to support new artists at the event and there’s always something new to get excited about.

“There’s plenty on offer and we’re looking forward to raising even more vital funds for Framework with your help!”

Beat the Streets tickets give access to all participating venues throughout the whole day and are available for the recommended donation of £20, however, additional donations can also be made at the time of purchase.
