Put on your best dancing shoes and head to Kelham Hall on Saturday 29 November for the Strictly Rosie May grand finale to be a part of a night of sparkle, dance and inspiration.
Mary and Graham Storrie, co-founders of The Rosie May foundation, are preparing for their Christmas Strictly fundraiser which is now in its ninth year.

The couple set up the Foundation following the murder of their 10-year-old daughter Rosie May in December 2003.
The charity’s Strictly fundraiser promises a night of glitz and glamour for contestants as they perform two dances – a Latin American and a ballroom routine – to a Christmas song of their choice in front of a panel of judges and an expected audience of around 250.
“Having two-left feet isn’t the end of the world.”
MARY STORRIE, founder
The panel is made up of a representative from Rollo academy of dance, who have offered their expertise free of charge to help train the contestants, and the winning couple from last year’s event, which raised £26,000.
Mary said: “Having two-left feet isn’t the end of the world. In fact we encourage it.”
She added:” It’s nice that way, we can see the most progression”.
There will also be a judges award who is won by the couple who are the best dancers.
An additional reward will be handed out on the night, a Rosie May scholarship to an inspirational student.
It aims to support dance students with financial difficulties to continue with their dancing.

Mary added: “Rosie May was a talented dancer, who loved being on stage”
“This event can be life changing for the people who do it. Their confidence builds and develops over time.”
