The City Ground.

Wolves forward Matheus Cunha is being heavily been linked with a move to the City Ground.

Forest are keen to reinforce during the current January transfer window to cement themselves a European spot for the first time since the 1995-1996 season.

Cunha, 25, has bagged ten goals and one assist this season for Wolves despite a tough start to their season.

Media reports on Wednesday linked the Brazil international to a potential club-record bid from Forest before the window shuts on February 3.

Wolves sit 17th in the Premier League, just outside the relegation zone, with only four wins in 22 games.

It is thought a fee of around £60 million could be enough to tempt Wolves to sell their star player (Sky News), and likely breaking Forest’s record transfer fee record. Including add-ons this is currently held by Morgan Gibbs-White, who was signed for around £42.5 million in August 2022.

Forest are next in action against Bournemouth on January 25.
