A man from New Basford has appeared in court on drugs charges after a raid at a flat.
The police raided the property in Radford Road, New Basford, on Saturday 18 January where they found cocaine, crack cocaine, cannabis and more than £1,000 in cash.
Jack Chapman, 25, was charged with two counts of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs and one count of possession with intent to supply Class B drugs.
He appeared at Nottingham Magistrates’ court on Monday January 20 and was later remanded into custody.
He is next due to appear at Nottingham Crown Court on February 17.
Inspector Liz Gaskin, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “It is always good news when positive police action like this results in the seizure and destruction of Class A and B drugs.
“These substances continue to destroy lives and frequently have a knock-on effect leading to further criminality and violence in our communities.”
