Stuart Maynard premiers his new Notts County side as they take on Barrow.

Both teams are struggling for form with County only managing one point in their last two but conceding seven.

Barrow have taken the same amount of points in their previous two but have conceded five.

New manager Maynard plays a very similar style to previous boss Luke Williams.

The ex-Wealdstone boss plays the same 3-4-2-1 playing a largely possession-based game, having success with scoring but they are sat in 14th as they concede more than they score.

What may give both sides some hope is their goal tallies – the Nottingham side are the top-scoring side in the league including five scored in their last fixture in the thrilling 5-5 draw against Grimsby Town.

Barrow do not struggle in front of goal themselves scoring six in their last three.

A win could place County three points off their opponents in fifth whereas Barrow could place as high as joint second with only three points and five goal difference separating them from Wrexham.

Barrow has scored 2 or more goals in 7 of their past 10 away matches but In 9 of the last 10 Notts County home matches, there have been Over 2.5 Goals meaning we are hopefully in for a goal-fest for the County manager’s debut.

This is compounded by the fact Notts County have scored 2 or more goals in 7 of their last 10 home matches.
