Fans have been sharing their opinions as the big game approaches this evening as Nottingham Forest take on Manchester United in the Carabao Cup semi final.
At 8:00pm today, Forest will host United at the City Ground in a battle steeped in history in the first leg of a two way semi final tie.
Forest will look to claim a victory over United for the first time since 1994, whereas the Red Devils will look to replicate their performance in their 3-0 victory over Forest when the teams met in December.
The feel around the Forest fan base has been somewhat confident due to recent form amassing some very impressive results.
Forest fans have taken to social media to share their thoughts on the upcoming game, with one saying: ”United are in the best version of themselves that we have seen in years and are playing really good football.”
However, despite some lacking in confidence, others believe that certain players could step up to the plate, saying: ”Gibbs-White and Brennan Johnson could seriously cause issues for the backline.

“And if Lingard starts, I think he could really compliment them both in the attack.”
Both sides are in search for a piece of elusive silverware, as United have gone without a major trophy for six years while Forest will be looking to recapture their League Cup form that was once so impressive under Brian Clough.
One Forest fan couldn’t contain their excitement and said: ”This is one of the biggest games I’ve witnessed as a Forest fan, its gonna be a belter.”
A game where the city of Nottingham will unite itself under the flood lights.
It will be a battle worthy of watching.
