Nottinghamshire Police are appealing for the public’s help after a hit and run left a motorcyclist injured in Beeston.

The incident took place at around 5pm on Thursday at the junction of Queen’s Road East and Tattershall Drive, Beeston.

A car, which officers believe to be a dark-coloured Audi A4, pulled out in front of the motorcyclist and failed to stop.

The 20 year old motorcyclist has since been treated in hospital for a hand injury that could result in surgery.

PC Steven Allcock, who is investigating the collision, said: “Although this collision was captured on the motorcyclist’s helmet camera, we have not been able to identify the car involved.

“We are therefore looking to trace anyone who may also have captured the car on dash cam footage.

“Fortunately the victim in this case was not more seriously hurt, but he was understandably very shaken by what happened.

“We would very much like to speak to the driver of the car and would urge him to come forward.”
