On Sunday 29 the Beat The Streets campaign returns to raise money in support of Nottingham’s homeless.
Spread across multiple venues in Nottingham City Centre, more than 25 local and national artists will perform for charity.
Since launching in 2018 the campaign has raised £320,000 for Framework, one of the East Midlands’ leading charities supporting vulnerable people get off, and stay off the streets.
Each year the proceeds from tickets, bar sales and merchandise go to charity to help meet Beat The Streets goal of eradicating homelessness in Nottingham.
The festival aims to bring together the local community by using well-known acts that perform frequently in Nottingham and the East Midlands.
This year Nottingham folk-punk band Ferocious Dog will headline at Nottingham’s famous Rock City club.

Ferocious Dog is well known for supporting the Beat The Streets event, and for regularly supporting homeless charities and encouraging fans to bring foodbank donations to their gigs.
The band will take to the stage at 5:45pm to 6:30pm on the main stage at Rock City.
Another up-and-coming band who will be performing are ALT BLK ERA a nu-metal sister duo who were the winners of this year’s Nusic Future Sound of Nottingham award.
Tickets for the Rock City show start at £10 but there is the option to pay up to £30 for the ticket for those wanting to donate more money to the cause.
Previously, money donated to Framework has allowed them to employ new members of staff including mental health, frontline and social workers.
It also enabled Sneinton Hermitage shelter to open its doors permanently and accommodate more than 60 high risk service users.
The one day festival has bands performing at venues from as early as 1pm, when the events will be 14+ to allow younger fans to get involved, with 18+ hours beginning at 11pm to 3am.
Other acts included in the one day festival are: Lawnmower Deth, Palm Reader, Girlband, The Chase who will perform not only at Rock City but also across other venues like The Bodega and Rough Trade.
