CCTV footage has been released by Nottinghamshire Police of a person they wish to locate after a man was attacked in a shop.
The incident took place in the A Star Supermarket, on Alferton Road, Radford, shortly after 12pm on 18 December 2022.
The victim suffered a fractured eye socket and needed medical treatment in hospital after he was punched to the face numerous times.
He was assaulted after an argument broke out over the purchase of tobacco.
Nottinghamshire Police investigator Natalie Gooderham, said: “This was an appalling assault which left the victim with significant facial injuries and feeling extremely shaken and upset.
“As part of our ongoing inquiries we are asking anyone who recognises the man in the footage to please contact us as soon as possible as we believe he many have information which could assist us with our investigation.”
