
Nottinghamshire Police are appealing for the public’s help to trace a man after a teenager was knocked unconscious on New Year’s Day.
The incident happened at Pelham Street, Nottingham City Centre at approximately 3am.
Officers found the assaulted victim on the ground while on their routine patrol.
The 19-year-old was then taken to hospital where he was treated for bruising and swelling.
Police have now released an image of a man they hope to trace and are urging the public to help in identifying him.
PC Ben Harwood, Nottinghamshire Police, said: “Thankfully the victim did not receive any life-altering injuries but this assault will have understandably left him not only with physical injuries but also affected him emotionally as well.
“We believe the man in the image will be able to assist with our inquires.
