A city centre street was partially closed after a car accident.
The incident happened around 5pm on Monday at the junction of Mansfield Road and York Street close to the Victoria Centre.
A black Vauxhall hatchback appeared to have hit a traffic light.
Police closed one inbound and outbound lane of Mansfield Road while the crash was cleared.
A passer-by who did not want to be named said: “The front of the car had a bit of damage.
“It looked like headlight glass and plastic from the bodywork was on the road.
“The traffic light was knocked a bit wonky.”
The road was later re-opened.
