Nottingham Forest are coming off the back of an impressive win against struggling Leicester city in the Premier League that saw them bounce to 13th, five points above the relegation zone.
Forest have been in a good vein of form following the world cup, having only lost one out of their last four in the league, amassing an impressive seven points from those fixtures.
Steve Cooper’s side seem to be improving every week and now are unbeaten in eight consecutive home games, where giants such as Liverpool, Chelsea and Spurs have failed to pick up wins.
Bournemouth, however, are struggling, coming back of a tough away loss at Brentford. The Cherries haven’t won a league game since mid-November and currently sit just a point outside the relegation zone.
Bournemouth have been without a couple of their star players who are expected to make a return this weekend, including the likes of Marcus Tavernier and David Brooks.
Steve Cooper’s side find themselves in a slight predicament having lost two more key players during their last league fixture, including Dean Henderson and Ryan Yates, both expected to be on the sideline alongside star man Jesse Lingard.
Despite another injury blow, Forest could see the return of their fabled number nine Taiwo Awoniyi who will be licking his lips at the opportunity of playing against the side with statistically the worst defence this season.
A match up that holds a lot of importance for both teams as they look to further escape the relegation zone.
We’re all in store for a big game at the Vitality Stadium this Saturday.
