Nottinghamshire police have arrested a man after a pedestrian suffered a broken leg and facial injuries after being run over on Radford Boulevard.
The pedestrian was crossing the road on the afternoon of Sunday, January 15th, when he was struck by a car that was being driven in a reportedly dangerous manner.
The driver, a 59 year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving, but has since been released on bail.
PC Nicole Bass, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “A road collision involving a pedestrian can have devastating consequences for everyone involved, so any report we receive of this nature is obviously very concerning.”
“There is no excuse for anyone to drive in a dangerous fashion on our streets, and anyone who does this should expect to face consequences.”
Police are pleading to anyone who saw what happened or has any dash-cam footage that could assist their investigation to get in touch immediately on 101, quoting incident 300 of 15 January 2023.
