
Nottinghamshire Police are looking for a man who stole £3,600 from a pizza place in an overnight robbery.
A man of Asian heritage was seen breaking into Mr Ts Pizza, from Bagnall Road, Old Basford, before he escaped with a safe containing up to £3,500 and £100 cash from the till.
Police Constable Alex Treweek, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “We would ask that anyone who recognises this man, or who may have more information about this burglary, comes forward and lets us know as soon as possible.”
“We understand that as much as £3,600 was stolen during this incident, which took place in the early hours of Sunday 23 January, and that the suspect would’ve been seen carrying the safe as he left the store.”
Stills taken from the burglary itself saw the man wearing a beanie and a high visibility jacket while completing the heist.
CCTV footage taken from the area saw the suspect exiting in the direction of Violet Close, with the safe in hand.
Nottinghamshire Police are now imploring anyone with any information regarding the incident on January 23, now come forward to assist them with their enquiries.
“If you have any information that could assist us with our enquiries, we would ask that you please call us on 101 quoting reference number 193 on 23 January 2022,” said Police Constable Alex Treweek, of Nottinghamshire Police.
