Nottingham Forest Community Trust have launched a Valentine’s campaign which encourages fans to show their love for the NHS and donate to the Nottingham Hospital’s Charity.
The new initiative, called ‘Love Nottingham Forest, Love Your NHS’, is designed to support the Youth Service at Nottingham’s NHS hospitals and Nottingham Forest Community Trust as they aim to get local communities leading healthier lifestyles.
Supporters can make donations (starting from £20) and will receive a Nottingham Forest training shirt as a gesture of love. Participants will also be entered into a prize draw to win an exclusive version of the shirt, signed by Nottingham Forest players.
All money raised through the campaign will be split equally between Nottingham Hospitals Charity and Nottingham Forest Community Trust.
Barbara Cathcart, Chief Executive of Nottingham Hospitals Charity, said: “We’re delighted to be launching this special Valentine’s Day campaign, where the people of Nottingham can not only show their appreciation for their local NHS hospitals, but also get a special gift for a loved one.
“The money donated through the campaign will help us make a real difference to young people being treated at Nottingham Hospitals throughout the coming year, by providing extra services, facilities and support during their time in hospital.”
Graham Moran, BEM, Chief Executive Officer of NFCT, said: I am thrilled that we have launched another fundraising campaign with Nottingham Hospitals Charity.
This campaign will give Forest supporters and Nottingham residents the opportunity to raise funds for two great Nottingham charities, who have a track record of providing invaluable support where it is needed.”
