There has been a heavy police presence in Bernard Street, Carrington, near the junction with Hucknall Road this morning.
Nottinghamshire Police were called to the road yesterday evening, Sunday January 30.
Residents on the road said that were at least four police cars on the scene last night.
Four police cars were seen on the road this morning, and a cordon was in place.
By 2pm, one police car remained at the scene and residents were being signed in and out of the road.
Nottinghamshire Police have not responded to information requests at the time of publication.
