With the EFL transfer deadline looming large, Mansfield Town are still looking to complete some transfer business with just a matter of hours until the window slams shut.

Nigel Clough has already seen left back Kieran Wallace, 27, and right-sided winger Lucas Akins, 32, both arrive on free transfers from Burton Albion.

But who are Mansfield Town linked with making late transfer moves for?

The former Everton youth player is also wanted by a host of other clubs as well as Mansfield, including: Peterborough, Shrewsbury, Fleetwood, Plymouth, Bristol Rovers and Leyton Orient.

Fleetwood Town’s Harrison Biggins is another player reportedly being targeted by Nigel Clough. The 25-year-old midfielder is out of contract in June and is also wanted by Hartlepool.

He has played 28 times so far this season and due to his contract situation would be available at a low price which has made Mansfield take notice.

Third and finally, Mansfield have been linked with a loan move for Aston Villa youngster Brad Young.

Young, 19, spent the first half of the season at Carlisle but failed to hit the ground running and was recalled by Villa at the start of this year.

Swindon, Northampton Town and Port Vale are said to be interested too, Swindon are said to be the most likely destination.
