After returning to winning ways at the weekend, Nottingham Forest Women travel to Sheffield FC Ladies tomorrow evening.
On Sunday, Forest deservedly beat Stoke City FC Women 1-0 thanks to a 53rd minute Rachel Brown goal, for their first win of the year.
They now find themselves in fifth place and just two points off Huddersfield in third and five points off top of the table Fylde Ladies, who are level on points with Derby County ladies in second.
Sheffield FC Ladies have gone five games without a win since their last victory in the league back at the start of October against Hull City LFC, conceding 21 goals in that time. That means they have conceded 4.2 goals per match on average in their last five fixtures.
They are 12th in the table and just five points above Hull who are at the bottom of the table.
Sheffield drew their weekend game 1-1 at home to Loughborough Lightning, this ended a run of four consecutive losses.
Forest won the reverse fixture 3-1 at The Pro:Direct Stadium on 26 August, and head coach Andy Cook will be hoping for another routine victory this time around.
The match kicks off at 19:45 tomorrow evening at the Coach and Horses Ground in Sheffield.
Forest will likely have one eye on their huge FA Cup fourth round clash against Manchester City Women at The City Ground on Saturday, but the game against Sheffield tomorrow should be considered just as important as they look to rise up the table and fight for the title.
