Live music’s return is well and truly back, with performers making their way to the stages of Rock City and Motorpoint Arena from next week to April 2022.

Here is a look at just ten of the brilliant acts that are performing in the upcoming months.

Example – Rock City, Friday 4 February 2022

‘Kickstarts’ singer and platinum selling chart-topper Example has announced a highly anticipated UK wide tour after a hiatus.

This homegrown artist is a triple-threat singer, rapper and producer.

Example will be reliving his new and old hits on the Nottingham stage.

So if you fancy throwing it back and listening to his 2011 number one hits ‘Stay Awake’ and ‘Changed the Way You Kissed Me’ get yourself to Rock City next Friday.

Dave – Motorpoint Arena, Tuesday 15 February 2022

Following the release of his second album, ‘We’re All Alone In This Together’, the rapper is performing a massive arena tour, which is set to kick off in Nottingham.

Dave will be sure to deliver with his electrifying and touching performance.

He covers deep issues such as race, culture and depression as well as his past as an act and where he’s got to now.

Dave will be sure to keep the crows attention throughout, while creating a feeling of unity.

KSI – Rock City, Saturday 19 February 2022

KSI, is a YouTube star, comedian, boxer and rapper from Watford.

He is coming to Rock City to perform his hit songs like ‘Holiday’, ‘No Time’ and ‘Lighter’.

His album his number two in the UK album chart and has over a billion streams.

KSI brings and infectious energy to his performance in Rock City in February.

Tom Odell – Rock City, Saturday 5 March 2022

Brit and Ivor Novello award winning songwriter, plus platinum-selling, chart-topping artist Tom Odell will be heading to Rock City in March 2022.

The classic songwriter has had three UK top five albums including chart-topping single ‘Long Way Down’.

Tom Odell produces websites that are multi-layered and genre blending, so he’d be a perfect performer for many different types of audiences.

The Wanted – Motorpoint Arena, Friday 11 March 2022

The Wanted who have just announced that they are back together again after a seven year break.

They have released their greatest hits album on November 12, are performing in Nottingham in March.

With over 12 million record sales worldwide, the band have notched up 10 UK Top Ten singles and two UK Number one singles.

The band today still boast almost six million monthly listeners on Spotify and have a huge worldwide following on their social media platforms.

The ‘Most Wanted – The Greatest Hits Tour’ will give fans a chance to hear all their favourites live for the first time in seven years, something they may of thought they’d never get to do again!

Gabrielle Aplin – Rock City, Saturday 19 March 2022

Whether she is stinging a huge pop song or a stripped back piano ballad, Gabrielle Aplin’s lyrical content and emotive vocals remain at the focus of her music.

On Spotify she has racked up hundreds of millions of streams and record sales across five EP’s and three albums, ‘English Rain, ‘Light up the Dark’ and her most recent album ‘Dear Happy’ which was released in January 2020.

To mark the announcement, Gabrielle Aplin has released the brand new song ‘Kintsugi’.

The bright pop track celebrates strength, she will be performing this in mid-March at Rock City.

Stormzy – Motorpoint Arena, Monday 21 March 2022

Set to be one of the most highly anticipated acts to perform in Nottingham this year, Stormzy.

He is a multi award-winning phenomenon and is a record which has been executively produced entirely by the musician himself.

Stormzy will be showcasing his world class lyricism and musicality alongside many of his celebrated and relatable subject matters.

The London-based grime MC will be guaranteed to put on a show to remember at the Motorpoint Arena.

Sam Fender – Motorpoint Arena, Sunday 20 March 2022

Sam Fender kicks of his nine show arena tour which kicks off at the Nottingham Motorpoint arena in March.

The young performer from North Shields has had a rapid ascent to musical fame.

Sam writes honestly in his music about subjects of social and generational significance based on his experiences growing up in the North East.

Sam Fender has already supported some of the biggest names in recent years and will certainly deliver his guitar anthems and pertinent words in a powerful way.

Craig David – Motorpoint Arena, Thursday 7 April 2022

Craig David is performing his Anniversary Arena Tour ‘Hold That Thought’ in the first week of April.

It has been over 20 years since Craig’s critically-acclaimed album ‘Born To Do It’ changed his life.

Craig has since made his way back into the charts and into the nation’s hearts with a string of chart hits and a Number one album marking the beginning of his triumphant return.

His most recent outfits ‘Following my Intuition’ and ‘The Time is Now’, have had over 1.5 billion streams.

Dua Lipa – Motorpoint Arena, Tuesday 26 April 2022

Global pop superstar Dua Lipa is coming to perform at the end of April 2022.

Her album ‘Future Nostalgia’ was the most streamed album in a day by a British female artist in the world on Spotify.

Dua Lipa also made BRIT award history in 2018 by becoming the first female artist to pick up five nominations, with two wins.

She also received two Grammy awards for ‘Best New Artist’  and ‘Best Dance Recording’ in 2019.

The fourth top played artist on Spotify is set to perform an electric show at the Motorpoint Arena.
