Nottinghamshire Police have arrested another man in connection to a robbery that took place on London Road

Police have arrested a second man in connection with a robbery that took place in Nottingham city centre.

A number of personal belongings were stolen from a property on London Road, during the early hours of Sunday, November 28.

The victim was reportedly attacked inside the property.

The items stolen during the incident include Nike trainers, four pairs of jeans, two mobile phones, and a bank card.

Two days later, 19-year-old Gervais Davis, of London Road, Nottingham, was arrested and subsequently charged with robbery.

He appeared at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court on December 1 and was remanded in custody to appear at Nottingham Crown Court on January 4.

Last night (December 6), the police arrested a second person – a 20-year-old man – on suspicion of robbery in connection with the same incident.

He remains in police custody for questioning.

Det Sgt Louise Bradford, of Notts Police, said: “The force takes reports of robbery very seriously and continues to work hard to reduce violent crime in our communities and keep people safe.

“Nottinghamshire Police will always investigate reports of robbery, strive to put suspects before the courts and remains committed to seeking justice for victims.”
