Nottingham Forest have drawn Arsenal at home in the third round of the FA Cup, the same tie they had in 2018 in the same competition.
The game is set to take place on January 8th.
Forest famously knocked the Gunners out with a 4-2 result in 2018 in the same competition where Eric Lichaj, who wore the number two shirt, is famous for his two goals on the River Trent banks.
Fans have had their say on social media.
@Halfcenturyred: “Oh heck – That’s yet another FA Cup run over before it’s even begun then. How come we never get drawn against Rochdale, or Stevenage, or Barrow, or Kidderminster?”
@truckerniell70: ” No VAR here Gunners +be prepared to be over-sung by our loyal fans COYR”
Other fans haves reminisced on the previous tie by tweeting: “Oh sweet sweet memories” – @highkeyhateme, “We’re gonna do it again!” – @Charlie64556236
The tie will be one that Steve Cooper, Forest manager, will be looking forward to and with the home advantage, the City Ground is sure to be roaring.
