St Andrew is the patron saint of six countries, but Scotland is the only one to have its national day on 30 November.

St Andrew’s Day is back in Nottingham after last year’s disruption to celebrating Scotland’s national day.

Tuesday, November 30 marks St Andrews Day 2021 and people in the city are celebrating with friends and family after celebrations were hit by Covid-19.

To mark the occasion, the Victoria Hotel are hosting an event with band Kelly’s Heroes, who perform Scottish music.

It starts at 8pm, ready for anyone who wants to join the celebration of the Scottish community here in Nottingham.
