The former Olympiacos star who joined Nottingham Forest last summer with big hopes of making a statement in English football has unfortunately found game time hard to come by at the City Ground.
Miguel Guerrero may have played his last game for Forest, speculation over him leaving Nottingham Forest this deadline day is mounting.
In a season where Forest is currently struggling sitting in 21st in the Championship table, Guerrero has failed to make an appearance in the last 10 games, this is worrying for fans, but even more, worrying for Chris Hughton who has been let down by his teams attacking prowess.
It appears Guerrero has fallen out of favour with Hughton who has made a point of leaving him out of the starting 11. Spanish journalist Victor Polo has claimed that Espanyol who are the Spanish Segunda Division are looking to make a swoop and secure Guerrero’s signature before deadline day is over.
Guerrero had the ability to play both as a striker and a number 10 role which will excite Espanyol fans greatly as they hope to return to La Liga.
With Glenn Murray completing his move to Forest, that could well mark the exit of Guerrero who was never able to hit the ground running at the City Ground.
