Nottinghamshire Police have arrested a 40-year old man on suspicion of burglary after ‘numerous bottles of alcohol’ were stolen from Bierkeller’s Friar Lane venue.
The suspect reportedly entered the premises by smashing the rear doors of the building on Saturday 16 January.
Nottingham City Police Detective Inspector Kayne Rukas said: “It has been a difficult time for many of our region’s businesses who have struggled to stay afloat during the Coronavirus pandemic.”

The suspect has since been released on bail while the detectives continue with their investigation.
“The force treats commercial burglary and theft very seriously and will continue to deal robustly with anyone believed to be involved in such crimes and work hard to secure justice for burglary victims”, DI Rukas added.
