The Met Office have maintained there yellow ice warning this morning, with a wet breezy afternoon and evening ahead.
A largely dry morning is expected but with thickening cloud and low temperatures, with a chance of rainfall at around 11am.
In the afternoon, outbreaks of rain will spread eastwards, expected to fall heavy for periods between 1pm and 5pm.
Cloud cover is expected to continue with slightly breezy with moderate winds coming in from the south.
Temperatures are expected to rise slightly through the day reaching a height of 5 degrees in the night.
Rain will move away to the east in the evening, but light rainfall is expected through the evening.
Into the night, it will be a chilly dry but with plenty of cloud and gentle winds from the west.
