A student was put in a police van after failing to comply with officers when they came to shut down a house party in Lenton.
Nottinghamshire Police were alerted to a gathering in Teversal Avenue following a noise complaint from neighbours on December 5.
There were around 22 people attending the event, which is illegal due to Tier 3 Covid19 restrictions.
Paul Clifford, 19, from Hull, was put in the back of a police van for failing to comply with police officers who were trying to disperse the partygoers.
Clifford provided false credentials, these being: Alan Walker from NG15. Later, he was taken home in the police van and charged with a £200 fine.
All other individuals at the party were also handed £200 fixed penalty notices for breaking rules.
“The current Tier 3 restrictions for Nottinghamshire are in place to prevent the spread of Covid-19 and to save lives.”
