Charity are set to start their winter charity drive with a range of fundraising activities including Christmas jumper day, Merry Fitmas and a TikTok dance challenge.

The Nottinghamshire Hospital Charity are appealing for donations to provide essential care to those who will be spending this festive period in hospital.

The charity has also felt the full effects of the COVID 19 pandemic as hospital staff have been battling the virus on the frontlines.

The charity has started the hashtag #NottinghamNHSHeroes.

Donations to the charity will help create two staff wellbeing centres, at the City hospital and Queens Medical Centre.

These wellbeing facilities will provide NHS workers with food and warm drinks as well as sleep pods.

The charity are also running countless other fundraisers such as Christmas jumper day on December 11 which encourages people at school, work or at home to wear a Christmas jumper for the day and donate to a good cause.

People are being encouraged to join the TikTok challenge set up by the charity.

The challenge asks people to film themselves dancing in a festive setting, upload the video to TikTok while also tagging friends to get involved while donating to Nottingham’s Hospital Charity on their Christmas campaign page.
