A 42-year-old man has been arrested after police found 48 cannabis plants at a property in Kirkby, near Ashfield.
Officers detained him on suspicion of production of drugs, resisting arrest and money laundering .
He was arrested during the execution of a warrant at Clumber Street.
Police Constable Mark Topham, from Nottinghamshire police, indicated that the arrest followed information provided by the public.
He said: “We’d like to thank the community who continue to help the force and local partners to tackle drugs in the Ashfield area.
“We’d like to remind residents that to help reduce crime, we need your help. Whether that be a phone call to us or to Crimestoppers directly, if you can provide us any relevant information please.
“This was an excellent job by a number of different departments across the force, who are working together to dismantle the drugs supply into the area and protect our community.”
The man has since been released under investigation.
