The first headliner of this year’s Splendour festival has been announced, along with some special guests.
Nineties indie band Supergrass are topping the bill this year with their debut performance followed by James.
Belinda Carlisle has also been announced to perform on the Confetti stage, with more acts waiting to be announced in the coming months.
Last year 30,000 people turned out and had the fastest record sell-out to date.
This year’s event is expected to follow suit.
The festival takes place at Wollaton Hall and Deer Park on 18th July.
Alongside the main-stage acts there will be different forms of entertainment including a funfair and kids activity area as well as independent market stalls.
25,000 tickets are on sale now with discounts available to Nottingham City Residents and 5,000 free child admissions.
