One of Nottingham’s most beautiful, grade II, vacant buildings has been transformed into a new restaurant and bar.
The Cosy Club, which has been empty for the last 14 years, is based on Victoria Street in the Lace Market.
It opened on January 29 and houses three floors of drinking, eating and celebrating spaces, while retaining the history and magnificence of the building through stunning interior design.
Manager Adrian Butcher said: “Having the opportunity to lead an amazing team to launch this is an honour.”
Walking into the top floor seating area he said: “We would love to host meals for graduation in here, the atmosphere would be amazing.”
Amber Wood, managing director, said: “We’ve had a fantastic few weeks putting the finishing touches to our biggest Cosy Club ever, and we can’t wait to see what the people of Nottingham think.
“The new Cosy Club offers something for every occasion, and to have the beautiful spaces that can be enjoyed whether you’re popping in for brunch, or celebrating your wedding, it’s been a very special renovation and opening for us.”
The menu is packed full of comforting classics throughout the day, but also boasts a brunch, tapas, gluten free, cocktails and award-winning vegan menu.
The Cosy Club is part of the Loungers chain, who opened their first location in 2010 in Taunton, Devon.
