Nottinghamshire Police are appealing for witnesses after a Co-op store in Beeston was robbed.

Police were called to the Co-op on University Boulevard in Beeston at 7:55pm on Monday 27 January.

The man jumped over the counter and demanded money from the staff. He then left the store on a pushbike with a sum of cash.

Rachael North, Detective Sergeant said: “This was a frightening incident for staff who were simply trying to go about their job. We want to reassure people that we will not tolerate such actions and that any reports will be investigated and taken seriously.”
