Notts County take on Hartlepool in the Vanarama National League

Next up for Notts County is the visit of Hartlepool to Meadow Lane as the Magpies look to make it four wins in their last five games.

The visitors are on good form as they have won their last three games but sit in 12th position in the Vanarama National League.

The Magpies are unbeaten against Hartlepool in the last five fixtures against them and Neal Ardley’s side look to make that six wins in six games against the side from the North East.

“Now it’s about maintaining the form we’re in. we have to do everything to maintain it.”
Ben Turner – Notts County

After the convincing 4-0 win at Woking, Enzio Boldeijn will be looking to score again after his two goals last game. The top scorer Krisitian Dennis for County this season will be hoping to start again but Wes Thomas is starting to look more assured in the role up top.

But Dennis could be drafted into the starting line-up as Thomas was brought off late in the game at Woking with a slight ankle injury-.

The player to look out for in the visiting team is Gime Toure who is on seven goals this season so far and has already matched his tally last season already.

Kick off is at Meadow lane at 3pm

At the defence, Notts County have Ben Turner and Connell Rawlinson who are forming a strong partnership at the back and Ardley said after the last game: “They did a good job keeping a clean sheet because we had to defend a lot of set pieces.”

In the build up to this game, Ben Turner said: “Now it’s about maintaining the form we’re in. we have to do everything to maintain it.”

Notts County are 3/1 favourites to beat Hartlepool and they could to go up to fourth in the table if results go in favour of them.
