Chilwell actress Bethan Moore, who plays Izzie Torres on BBC’s daytime soap Doctors, has been shortlisted for the ‘Best Newcomer’ gong in the National Soap Awards.
Since being cast in the role last July, Moore’s stellar performances have garnered her a lot of praise.
Moore, 13, has been a standout in the programme since becoming a regular and she has already been nominated for her first award of her young career, the best newcomer award at this year’s British Soap Awards.
In her category she is up against actors in other main soaps including:
- Alexandra Mardell (for her role as Emma Brooker in Coronation Street)
- Ricky Champ (for his role as Stuart Highway in EastEnders)
- James Moore (for his role as Ryan Stocks in Emmerdale)
- Talia Grant (for her role as Brooke Hathaway in Hollyoaks)
