Mansfield will play away at Rodney Parade on Thursday evening.

Following their narrow defeat on Saturday, Mansfield Town will face Newport County in the Skybet League Two Play-offs.

The MK Dons secured the third and final automatic promotion place at the expense of the Stags after beating Mansfield 1-0 at the weekend.

David Flitcroft’s team travel to Rodney Parade on Thursday, May 9 where they will face the South Wales outfit in the their first play-off fixture.

The game, which kicks off at 7.45pm, should see a bumper crowd at Rodney Parade in anticipation of one of the biggest games of both team’s seasons.

Newport have made over 1,000 tickets available for the travelling Stags fans heading over the border. Prices for away fans travelling to Rodney Parade are shown below.

Tickets for the game will be available through the Mansfield Town ticket office until midday on Thursday. Fans under 16 must be accompanied by an adult for the away leg at Rodney Parade.

Season ticket holders will have their seats for the home tie reserved until midnight on May 8.

Mansfield will host Newport in the second leg of the semi-final on Sunday, May 12 at 6pm.

Tickets for the return fixture at the One Call Stadium will go on general sale from 10am on Thursday, May 9.

Due to high demand, the Stags have extended the opening hours of the ticket office. It will remain open from 10am to 7pm on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, 10am to 1pm on Tuesday and Friday and 10am to 6pm on Sunday.

Should the Stags overcome Newport and progress to Wembley, the play-off final will take place at 3pm on Saturday, May 25.
