A man and a woman have been arrested following the stabbing of a 42-year-old man in Radford yesterday.
The stabbing took place on Lawson Street, at around 8pm last night (February 6).
The man was taken to Queen’s Medical Centre last night, his injuries are considered serious but not life threatening. He is in a stable condition.
A 29-year-old woman and 33-year-old man have been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent. The pair are currently being questioned in connection with the incident.
Detective Inspector Kayne Rukas, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “This was a serious assault and people will have seen a considerable police response in the area. We believe this was a self-contained incident and there is no wider threat to the public.”
“We have made arrests in connection with the incident but we would urge anyone who saw what happened, or has CCTV or dash-cam footage that may be helpful to the investigation, to come forward.”
