Nottingham’s Motorpoint Arena will be holding an epic display of light and sound where audiences will be taken to outer-space, as they experience footage of famous moon landings during a unique performance from a Secret Symphony’s Limelight Orchestra.

Taking place on Saturday 27 July 2019, the Interstellar show will celebrate the 50th anniversary of the 1969 Apollo 11 moon landing.

Alongside an immersive light display, special effects production and NASA footage will be an impressive soundtrack, including ‘stellar’ covers of David Bowie, Elton John and Coldplay.

The 50-piece Limelight Orchestra is set to impress audiences as the display transforms the arena to reveal the magic of outer-space.

The Apollo moon landing was a spaceflight that resulted in the first two people landing on the moon. Commander Neil Armstrong is remembered for describing his first step on the moon as “one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind.”

Ticket’s for the Interstellar show are on sale from 10am on Friday 8 February 2019, priced at £28.40 (including admin fee).
