If you’re aged 26 or less, Nottingham is one of the best places you can live, according to BBC Analytics.

With over 1,000 young people surveyed, Nottingham has been ranked as excelling in a variety of categories that are important to this age range.

One of the categories where Nottingham did best was 4G coverage, where the proportion of areas with good signal reached 100%.

Another reason Nottingham succeeded is the youth population of the city, with 24% of residents being aged 16-25.

Nottingham also boasts great bus services compared to similar sized cities such as Sheffield, and more choice for bars and clubs than Derby.

The Old Market Square is the heart of Nottingham.

Other areas that are ranked highly are Islington, Cardiff and Bristol.

Some of the areas that ranked the lowest were Melton in Leicestershire and Tewkesbury in Gloucestershire.
