The current Miss Nottingham has said that neither her university studies or career in law will take her from Nottingham Forest.
Vicky Marriott, 23, from Kimberely is a masters law students and life-long ‘frustrated’ Forest fan, but doesn’t let her competitions stop her from following the reds home and away.
The law student started competing when she was 18 after it being her “dream from a young age” after seeing it on TV, films and in the papers.
She went for the reign of Miss Nottingham again after deciding to hand down the crown two years ago after finishing second in Miss England.
“I am absolutely chuffed to represent the city”
In September 2018 reds fan Vicky told her Mum that she would go for the Miss Galaxy crown this time which she will compete in March for.
Vicky has been raising money for the Christie Charity in Manchester, a cancer research hospice which is one of the biggest treatment centres in Europe.
With her intense lifestyle of working in commercial law and business Monday to Friday and then her university studies every other weekend, Vicky said her only way to chill is “when I’m at the city ground watching forest.”
A charity closer to home which Vicky is also heavily indebted in is Little Footprints, a school for disabled children who struggle to find a way into mainstream schools.
She is aiming to raise up to two-thousand pounds but said any contribution is “greatly appreciated and valued a bonus.”
