The Wheel of Nottingham is set to return to Old Market Square

The Wheel of Nottingham is returning to the city centre for two weeks from February 8.

The 60-metre-high observation wheel is always popular in Nottingham and is a great attraction for tourist.

Visitors can enjoy the 13-minute ride with up to six members in each gondola.

The Wheel is brought to Nottingham by the Mellors Group, which is the UK’s leading provider of mobile tourist attractions.

“We are proud to be bringing the wheel back into Nottingham.”
James Mellors, Director of Mellors Group

James Mellors, director of Mellors Group said: “We are proud to be bringing the wheel back into Nottingham, as it’s our home town and as with all of our city centre events we aim to attract more tourists and drive footfall through the High Street”

The Mellors Group is also responsible for The Beach in Old Market Square that comes to Nottingham every summer and Winter Wonderland at Christmas.

Its return comes just in time for Nottingham’s Light Night, where you can discover stunning light installations and exciting performances across the city.

This event is inspired by the 50th anniversary of the first man on the moon and Apollo 11 spaceflight.
