Police believe a band of robbers are working together to distract shop workers and commit burglaries.

Nottinghamshire Police have issued an appeal after three local stores in Nottingham were targeted and burgled last week.

The first store to be attacked was in Rochester Walk in Clifton last Monday where a variety of jewellery was stolen.

The other two incidents occurred in Woodfield Road, Broxtowe on Wednesday, 23 January.

Derbyshire Police are also investigating five similar incidents and believe that they are all connected.

Eight people are said to be involved and it is thought that they are travelling around in either a sliver Ford Galaxy or a Vauxhall Zafira.
