Nottingham Forest will be without the services of Jack Colback and Hillal Soudani when they host league leaders Sheffield United at The City Ground in the Sky Bet Championship on Saturday afternoon (kick-off 3pm).

Colback will be suspended for the highly anticipated clash while Soudani will miss out after picking up a knock in The Reds’ disappointing 3-2 defeat at Burton Albion in the Caribao Cup on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Danny Fox will also miss the visit of The Blades as he recovers from a foot injury sustained in the draw at Leeds United last Saturday.

Forest currently occupy 7th position in the league table where a win over their promotion rivals would see them move into the play-off positions. Sheffield United sit in 1st place and a win for them would extend their advantage at the top.

The Blades were victorious in their last league outing as they comfortably defeated Wigan Athletic 4-2 at Bramall Lane. A hat-trick from the former Forest striker Billy Sharp helped secure a vital three points for Chris Wilder’s side.

Forest drew 1-1 at Leeds United last weekend but it could have been more if the referee had rightfully ruled out Kemar Roofe’s handball late on to secure a point for the home side.

Across Trent Bridge, struggling Notts County will be searching for only their fourth league win of the season as they travel to Staffordshire to take on Port Vale at Vale Park.

Harry Kewell’s side have lost their last three games as they continue to be stuck near the bottom of the table, and it will not get any easier for The Magpies with Vale unbeaten in their last three games.

Mansfield will travel to Cheltenham Town on Saturday to as they look to continue their better form which has seen them move up to 9th in the Sky Bet League Two table.

The Stags have been draw specialists so far this season, despite only losing one league game, but will be hoping to secure three points which could move them into the League Two play-offs.
