Nottinghamshire Police have issued an appeal for information after burglars stole a quantity of cigarettes from a village post office.

Police received a report at 01:18am on Thursday, 1 November after the offenders broke into the shop in East Leake, Gedling, before taking the cigarettes.

CCTV footage is being looked at, but witnesses are urged to come forward if they have any information that can assist the police.

It is believed the offenders were three men who arrived and left the scene in a white car.
