This year, November 5 falls on Monday.
There will be many family events taking place over the weekend to celebrate the lead up to Guy Fawkes Night.
Bonfire Night on The Forest

When: Monday 5 November
This popular free event at Forest Recreation Ground is back for another year and is equipped with food stalls, a funfair, a bonfire and two firework displays, which will take place at 7.15pm and 9pm.
Wilford Village: Robin Hood Festival of Fireworks
When: Saturday 3 November
Two firework displays will be held at Nottingham’s Modern Rugby ground in Wilford, just outside the city centre. The main display will be celebrating 100 years of the Royal Air Force and will be accompanied with music. West Park, Long Eaton firework display
When: Saturday 3 November

Nottingham Racecourse bonfire
When: Sunday 4 November
MySight, a charity that promotes greater independence for the visually impaired in Nottingham, is celebrating 175 years with this family event that is packed with food stalls, firework displays and a fairground. The event will be held from 4pm – 8pm and tickets can be purchased on the night, with all proceeds going to the charity.
