Nottingham’s latest new bar is set to open a taster event to showcase samples of their quirky food and drink before their big opening.
On Monday, April 9, GinSecco are hosting a preview event at Playhouse Bar and Kitchen, Nottingham.
The event will take place at 6.30pm and will be serving up six courses of tapas takes on British Food staples.
Along with this, they will be serving six gin and prosecco styled drinks.
“We want to be upmarket and classy but ultimately we want to be fun.”
Joe Macbeth, general manager of ginsecco
GinSecco was set to open in February, however due to delays they hope to open in late April.
When they open, Ginsecco aims to present its food in a quirky way and therefore have created fun takes on traditional foods such as fish and chips and the full English breakfast.
Joe Macbeth, the general manager of GinSecco said: “When Playhouse reached out to us about doing a takeover evening we thought it was a great opportunity to showcase our style and for people to get a feel for the kind of casual pampering type of service that they can expect at GinSecco.”
The event has already received a lot of interest and only 40 tickets are now available.
Joe added: “We want to be upmarket and classy but ultimately we want to be fun. We think this evening is going to show that to people.”
The bar plans to be open seven days a week from noon til midnight on the 3rd floor at The Cornerhouse, Burton Street, Nottingham.
