After a poor performance in their 0-3 loss to Preston on Tuesday night the reds turn their attention to play-off hopefuls Fulham to get back to winning ways.

Forest sit in 15th place in the league with the prospect of having nothing to play for as the likelihood of relegation or promotion could both be slim.

However after a hectic ending to the January transfer window with many fresh faces, could we see a late play-off push by Karanka’s men?

New addition Costel Pantilimon is likely to start the game with Lee Tomlin, Joe Lolley, Jack Colback, Ashkan Dejagah and Adlene Guedioura all available for selection.

Fans were left disappointed by the 0-3 home defeat Tuesday night.

Forest manager, Aitor Karanka, said on the club’s website: “The players know that they can’t sleep as there are not just another 11 players ready to play, but more who are crazy to play. I hope that the attitude is good, at least, from all of them then on Saturday we will start to build everything.”

He added: “Fulham are one of the best teams in the league, they have a very good manager who knows the league. It is going to be a tough game but I don’t care about them or any opponents.”

The hosts come in to the game confident off the back of three straight wins against fellow play-off contenders Middlesbrough, Burton Albion and Barnsley.

A positive for Reds fans going into the fixture is that Fulham haven’t won three consecutive league matches against Nottingham Forest since October 1952.
