Detectives have charged a second man in connection with a knife-point robbery in the city centre.
James Robert Johnson, 26, of no fixed address, has been charged with the robbery of a man’s mobile phone on Talbot Street on January 12.
He has been remanded in custody until February 28 where he will then appear at Nottingham Crown Court.
The incident saw a police officer injured and a man tasered, leading to the closure of Talbot Street and subsequently Waverley Street as investigations took place.

It occurred at around 1.50am.
Joseph Hardy, of Calveley Road, Bilborough, was previously charged with robbery, assault with intent to resist arrest, failing to appear in court and obstructing a police officer in the execution of their duty.
He will appear in court on February 12 after also being remanded in custody.
