Two men have been stabbed outside city centre nightclub Pryzm in the early hours of this morning (January 31).

The incident happened at around 3:25am today. The two men were taken to hospital with injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening.

Today blood could still be seen on the steps outside.

It is understood that one of the victims was given first aid treatment inside the club, before an ambulance arrived.

A spokesperson for the club said: “Following an incident on Lower Parliament Street that was not connected to the venue, an injured man was brought into the safety of the club, where our team provided immediate first aid until an ambulance arrived.

“The incident was not connected to the club and occurred on Lower Parliament Street.”

The entrance to the club is currently cordoned off, and a police car is parked outside the building.
