Flowers placed in memory on Peel Street

A 56-year-old man has been questioned on Tuesday afternoon, on suspicion of murder and attempted murder in a collision on Peel Street which took place on Monday 29th January.

Nottinghamshire Police have confirmed that a woman pedestrian died at the scene at 10:10am and two men were taken to hospital following the collision.

A second pedestrian, a man, remains in a stable condition in hospital.

Peel Street and North Sherwood Street were closed whilst investigations were carried out, but have since reopened.

Flowers and cards have now been placed in memory of the woman who died in the collision.
